AI in Practice

AI is moving from the cloud to the edge — and from concept to reality. As 6G, edge computing, and embedded intelligence converge, we’re entering a new era where every sensor, node, and device becomes part of a self-aware network.

Join us for an afternoon of expert talks, live demos, and networking to explore:

✅ How 6G will power the next wave of AI-driven services

✅ How TinyML and Small Language Models make devices AI-native

✅ Real-world industrial and human-centric AI use cases

AI + Ale — Mingle & Finger Food Don’t miss the opportunity to connect face-to-face with leading voices and key players shaping the AI and edge ecosystem.

All you need to know

This edition of Connecting the Dots focuses on how AI is implemented across the spectrum — from ultra-low-power edge devices to industrial-scale systems — and what happens when everything starts to think on its own.

What you’ll learn:

  • How 6G will enable the next wave of AI-driven services
  • How Edge AI reshapes product architecture and innovation
  • Building-in security, integrity, and efficiency from the start
  • The convergence of connectivity, software, and intelligence
  • Monetization strategies: from network capabilities to outcome-based models

Why attend?

  • Hear from leading experts in 6G, AI, and edge computing
  • Explore real-world use cases and live demos

Schedule

16:00

Welcome & Introduction – Jan-Åke Lindqvist, Sigma Connectivity

Jan-Åke Lindkvist
CMO/Dep CEO Sigma Connectivity Sthlm
16:10

Beyond the Smartphone: 6G × AI – From Behavioural Shift to Monetization

Karin Thurberg Raj
CTO Nokia Europe
16:45

AI at the Edge – Tiny Models, Real Impact

Danil Zherebtsov
CTO Neuton
17:15

AI in the Real world, Flox Intelligence

Our final speaker will present a groundbreaking real-world use case where AI is deployed not in data centers — but outdoors, in nature. This technology combines computer vision, advanced perception models and autonomous decision-making to track movement, classify behavior, and react in real time — even under changing light, weather, and distance conditions.

Instead of analyzing human-generated data, this AI system observes the physical world directly and responds instantly. It protects assets, increases efficiency, and reduces manual intervention — all while operating at the edge with extremely low latency requirements.

A talk about autonomy, intelligence beyond Wi-Fi, and what happens when machines are trusted to interpret the world on their own.

AI at the Edge – Tiny Models, Real Impact

Danil Zherebtsov

Danil has over eight years of experience in applied machine-learning and data science.

He started his journey with statistical programming in R around 2014 and later transitioned to Python, leading numerous ML projects across industries such as retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, and finance.

Today, Danil heads the Machine Learning practice at Neuton.AI (now part of Nordic Semiconductor), where he focuses on bringing AI out of the cloud and directly onto embedded devices — enabling efficient, real-time intelligence at the edge.

He is also the creator of the open-source Python toolkit “verstack,” designed to help data scientists tackle common—but challenging—data-science tasks more efficiently.

Danil is known for bridging the gap between theoretical ML research and practical deployment, especially in constrained environments, making him a strong voice for real-world AI.
